Home Care services for the Mid North Coast
A1 Nursing and Care Services is changing the way people are cared for in their own home.
What we can help with
Our team of hand-picked, experienced aged care nurses and care staff are happy and fulfilled, knowing that they’re making a difference in someone’s life. We provide our staff with support, professional development and a positive work environment. When you partner with us, we’ll send you the best-suited carer for your facility.
Too often, people are only able to stay home to a certain point before their care becomes so complex that they need to be transferred to an aged care facility, even if this is not their wish.
Our team of highly-skilled Registered Nurses can bring advanced hospital services into your home. As well as routine care services such as hygiene and safety management, our capabilities include mobile imaging and diagnostic testing, all performed without leaving your living room. This means people can stay in their homes comfortably, because they’re receiving a combination of compassionate care and qualified medical assistance.

What is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package is financial assistance provided by the government to enable older Australians to access affordable care services in their homes.
What you need to know about Home Care Packages
Funding for Home Care Packages is limited, so there is often a long wait list of up to 12 months to receive funding.
Packages and funding are assigned based on needs.
There are different levels of Home Care Packages available:
Level 1 – Basic care needs, average 2 hours a week of care
Level 2 – Low care needs, average 4 hours a week of care
Level 3 – Intermediate care needs, average 8 hours a week of care
Level 4 – High care needs, average 16 hours a week of care
If you choose to work with A1 Nursing and Care Services, we will identify your care needs and package level, and then coordinate and manage your services on your behalf.
